Alanna Takes a Solo

What began as a revenge band after playing with The Glass Jars became quite a few things. One might say it began around the time Chris Nota, James Winters and Lucas Henry recorded The Tree Wizard Operetta one manic, snowy day in February. Others might say it started when Alanna, Chris and Kevin were dragged into the ice cream parlor to play shows in December. Still others might argue that it's an offshoot of James' years of making tapes in his bedroom-- this would explain why most recordings on this page are simply done by him, on a tape in his bedroom.
