Cage The Wolves
NEWS AND THAT
(29/01/10)
Third attempt at recording tonight. Fucked it up the past two goes due to Rick's brother having a house party and all sorts of technical stuff going bang. Location's moved from the usual room to my Grandma's living room. We should get enough quiet there!

We have more than ten songs planned for this full length, now. I'm buying a compressor soon; Rick has invested in a chord organ, and we're going to get a glockenspiel too. Recording starts next month. I am excited because we have lots of snow too. I am double excited because Rick has learned some new chords, so we have songs without just A minor now.

Some of our stuff is going to be put out by Foxpop Tapes in the very near future. Foxpop Tapes is run by our dear friend Ally - who releases very nice music by very nice bands. It is very good. http://the-collective.net/~foxpop/home

Secret Chief of CLLCT reviewed the same record. It was a good review. You can read it here:

We got reviewed by a magazine called Punktastic. It wasn't a very good review. Nor was it well written. So what though, because their idea of punk is polished, tacky, post-Green Day bands.

BIO
In the third month of 2009, Rick found himself alone with lots of songs. He only knew four chords. A week later, he met Matt, who happened to have lots of instruments and a tape recorder. They bought some microphones, recorded a lot of songs, and then played some good and some not very good shows.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rick - acoustic/jaguar/words/voice/chord organ/glockenspiel
Matt - tapes/microphones/drums/acoustic guitar/melodica
not forgetting dearests Vikki, Shaun and Rocky.
