So the story goes that one day, Robert Richard Rogan decided to start writing songs. Before he could even play an instrument, the angry teen began writing angst-riddled poetry nightly while sneaking cigarettes out his bedroom window. Then came real life. Then the real music.

Ten years later, after a lot of noise, the Fig Mints were born. Since 2004, Bobby has been releasing just about an album a year, and a few people have told him that they're alright. Currently based in Utica, NY, USA.
