Generous, Generous, Alzir! (GGA!) is Mark Remillard who is an independent artist who has been playing music since about 11, writing since 14, recording since 15 and is now 20 and over the years collected various recording equipment, microphones, programs and instruments. He is fluent in guitar, piano, bass, and drums, and a few other instruments. On GGA!’s new album ‘Compromise,’ Mark wrote and preformed all of the music for the album. Its a full length, 9-track, concept feature, which as stated was written and preformed, but also recorded, mixed, edited, and produced solely by Mark Remillard (GGA!). Most recording was done at his parents house in California, but he also lived in Seattle, WA for a while and did some recording up there as well. Mark’s home studio in California is called GGA! which is where Mark recorded most of ‘Compromise’ and all of ‘The Bat in My Shins.’

Currently Mark Remillard has joined together with Andrew Silverson on Bass, and Tyler Caldwell on drums, and is currently working on another full length that should be released in late 2008 or early 2009.

GGA!’s music is largely rather folk based, but with rock undertones and a refreshing experimentation that only independent artists can provide.
