Maureen Sill and some friends make unfancy lo-fi music in attics apartments and on beaches sometimes. It often leads to internal dialogue much like this:
You: Hey, that song sounds alright... I think I could have probably written that song.
Your Brain: Why didn't you write that song, then?
You: Oh, brain, hush. I could have written that song, it's pretty normal sounding. It's not like, amazing, it's just nice. It's nice.
Your Brain: Yeah... okay. I believe you. Let's make some music, okay?
You: Alright. Yeah, that sounds good.
