Tinyfolk currently hail from Oak Park, IL. They play acoustic songs in person and electronic songs over the internet. There is a good amount of ukuleleing and such at a live show, and they sing about stuff too.
For those of you wondering which one to listen to first, let me give you the following guidance: there are really only five proper Tinyfolk albums. There are a number of lesser releases as well, which you may enjoy very much. But the proper Tinyfolk albums are as follows:
1. Thirty-Six Cat Songs (2005)
2. Love Doesn't Grow on Trees (2005)
3. Platapeasawallaland: A Rainy-Day Owlbum (2006)
4. Bill (2007)
5. Sic Semper Equis (2008)

For fans of Seasonal Anxieties: I would recommend starting with Platapeasawallaland: A Rainy-Day Owlbum, which you can hear here: http://cllct.com/release/platapeasawallalandarainydayowlbum
then you might try "Little Mice and Other Things That Go Skitter Skitter" or "Bill":

After that you can either go older or newer, the older stuff gets more lo-fi and twee, the newer stuff gets more electronic/produced and odd.
Thanks so much!

I was pretty much going to ask the same thing as Smally below. I heard that compilation and loved "Seasonal Anxities" but no clue where to go to next. I've yet to create a profile but I plan on being an active member now that I've heard that comp. Yours was a standout track for sure, tinyfolk
"Seasonal Anxieties" just simultaneously blew my mind and glued me to the chair in amazement...
So where on earth do I start with your records!? There's so many...
