Claim an Artist, Release, or Label

If you're the rightful owner of an Artist, a Release, or a Label and...

A) You want it taken down:
First, you should contact the submitter and nicely ask them to remove your content.
Remember that they more than likely submitted your stuff because they're a fan, not for some malicious reason.
If they won't take down the content, contact one of the mods here.
Try and include some proof that you're the owner.
The mod will then contact the submitter of the content and try to determine the next course of action.
An example: you're Radiohead and someone uploaded your release.


B) You want ownership transferred to your account:
Contact one of the mods here.
At this point the mod will contact the submitter of the content and determine the next course of action. You should probably contact the author and settle everything before you contact a mod.

An example: you gave your friend permission to upload your release and then you later joined and wanted to edit the release.

Remember:

We allow everyone and anyone to join and submit content, so every now and then there will be content uploaded illegally. Don't get mad at us, it's not our fault. Just let us know and we'll try and work with you to the best of our abilities, alright? If you don't want your content to be a part of CLLCT, that's your decision. Plus, it would be unfair to the family that want to be a part of something great.
