this album was written and recorded when i was seventeen and eighteen, during which i experienced some of the most important and good and terrible events of my life to date.
looking back, i think most of the songs were light-hearted in an effort to cheer myself up and get through the rough spots. so, a lot of them are make believe. but the ones that sound like make-believe are real.

this album was recorded in arcata, california- mostly in the kitchen, and on the sun porch. there's not much to it except a voice and a guitar. some friends gave their voices and musicianship to the project and are greatly loved and appreciated for it.

[Nov. 2007] Croquet/Steve Wood Split LP info: Croquet is Chaetan Newell. Steve Wood was Chaetan Newell's best friend in Boston before going M.I.A. some time in October. He was homeless at the time they met and dying of AIDS. Steve has claimed to be the original singer for J. Geils Band though this has yet to be proven or disproven.

this was a super-limited show-only handmade ep. two originals and two covers (little boxes by malvina reynolds and in the aeroplane over the sea by neutral milk hotel) - each cd was hand drawn and hand colored. this is pretty much the only place to get these tracks now.

Recorded shortly after moving to Keflavik, Iceland and following the series of loss of loved ones and continuous rejection in the search of love. Locked in his bedroom, Adrian Aardvark decided to record an album that showed his diverse tastes in music and love of experimentation.
