a beautiful set bootlegged at grand rapids, mi's only diy love nest, the daac, on July 21, 2008 with Shelby Sifers, Edgar Cayce, Hi I'm Sam, and Cookie Bumstead... posted with permission!
Some of the vocals on this recording are a little bit blown out because of Jordaan's mighty voice, but this in no way distracts from the beautifulness.
A single recently released. A small unmixed and unmastered solo acoustic demo.
lyrics
Patiently, desperately
Courting Ari straight from her dreams
In throbbing, in tall things, in buildings
Messaging but silently in scents, & sex
I'm swimming
So what does that say to you?
Patience - I've had my share
So many places we could've been, but we're here
So what does that say to you?
When This Level is Clouds! was Mike Texas, Atom Lax, and Eric Brown they toured throughout the east coast in the winter. They played a show at the Diamond Star House and this was their set.

I just wanted a bite of your cookie is one man. he likes to write songs about odd things. he also likes to find stuff to bang on and then bang on said stuff.
all music on "ev'rything" was made on an electric guitar with four strings and two broken ones as well as scores of metal, plastic, paper and wood.
hope you enjoy
i guess the title sums it up fairly well. these are songs for a really cute girl whom i totally adore. she's moving away real soon + well, yeah, it sucks cause there's so much i didn't do cause i'm such a wuss. i was transferring shows + stuff from our band, river rifle, to the computer (which i'll totally share with you soon!) + it sort of bummed me out knowing that this is pretty much it.

This is a record I made over the course of a couple weeks in late 2007 after my son went to bed at night. An album about failed love, lost religion, and 80's horror movies.
I hope you enjoy it. If you like it enough to purchase it, I have CD copies available (artwork + lyrics booklet and everything). Just visit chriszabriskie.com.
A record about a madman in space. Inspired by the 1979 film of the same name. 6 years in the making, finally abandoned and released unfinished, which is fitting, given the story and source material.
All songs by Chris Zabriskie (You've Been a Wonderful Laugh Track, ASCAP).
1. You've Got the Body + I've Got the Brains
2. March to the Sky
3. I Will Take You Home
These songs were recorded at home from February 2007 to May 2007.
Track 5 is by Hoagy Carmichael
Track 7 is by Sparklehorse.
Also Track 8 was originally released on the cassette compilation "Ukulele and so can I" on Lost Sound Tapes.
In the summer of 2007 I had 8 days(nights) off of work. This is what I did with those days(nights). The title and album art come from the "USGA's Illustrated Rules of Golf."
Also note that minus the first song, all the songs are meant to run together seamlessly, so that might explain some of the abrupt endings/beginnings.
