Re-worked tracks from years past just to give them a proper release.
"We're all alone
that should have let you know
fresh starts are on the fold
we can start again and again and again..." -
Songs recorded the week of March 7th. Some of them are rerecords of previous songs, others are songs written at the spur of the moment throughout the week. All of them are songs. None of them are board games or something else silly like that.

The first of three compilations this year, Daydream Generation 8 was released in February 2010. As well as the usual contributors from the Quixodelic Collective, Cozy Home Records, and the Elephant 6 Townhall, this compilation featured a large number of bands and songwriters from CLLCT.

A pre-album EP with some tracks likely to feature on the new release.
Features more psychedelic, some more minimal and others bigger and denser. Also the first Weird Ribs track to feature some sampling ala my other project Fragile Battleship.
Enjoy. -
This song is not about dragons... but Fabrizio (all the way from Jamaica) was a great inspiration (as can be seen in the cover art.)

Daydream Generation 7 was the only DG compilation to be released in 2009 (August). Concentrating primarily on Quixodelic Records releases during the year, for a while it looked like the Daydream Generation was over.

Holly Meriweather, a member of watch out red hood, expounds on their original "Secret Club Meeting" with another verse, accompanying herself with the ukulele.

Tracks one through three are from the Oct. 31st demos which were released that day in 2008 under the name The Pend Oreille Arrow, four through eleven were recorded for fun at different times between 08 and early 09, and twelve through fourteen were recorded one March night in 2010.

The first digital 7 inch from “The Extinction,” the new Ghosts of Progress record about a religious community waiting for the end of the world. The tracks were recorded in Kelseyville, California on a warm sunny afternoon with a slew of Bay Area musicians taking part (like members of Travel by Train and the Sad Bastard Book Club). The second track was recorded live and in one drunken take.
