We've been roommates since the fall of 2005, our freshman year at college. We began writing music that winter. Since, we've put out two full length albums, an EP, and a split with Toby Foster. This is our latest effort, a self titled album we wrote between the summer of 2007 and the spring of 2008. We recorded these songs after our spring semester this past May. We hope you dig the album.

Our second album of all cover tunes. Self-released on CDR in 2003, following the folding of Secret Center Records. The label may be gone, but the concept lingers on! Yeah, it's long, but it had to be in order to capture all the Four Eyes magic. Enjoy!

this EP thingy is a mix of punk and noise rock that's trying to fit in with the hardcore scene. but the hardcore scene is all like "oink oink" and i'm all like "nasal nasal." plus i'd rather have a vagina. i'm trying to tell you that.

Basically a Bikeweather discography. Bikeweather is about fun and friendship and happiness.

This is a tape i put out. Its a collection of a bunch of older nice and friendly songs from back when sarah sang in the band. It only came out on tape so i thought this would be a good way to share it.

Featuring such hits as "what we want", "black holes", and more!!!

    Holla!

(for some reason the streamer makes the songs sound slow and weird, but if you download them or the .zip file it's fine!)

    HELLO FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS

here's an explanation on why these recordings are kind of disjointed and don't sound the same:

these are porches songs that are no longer available on a physical recording format. they are songs that i really like, but that i don't think i'll ever release again for various reasons. some of them are from records that i re-recorded parts of, some of them are songs

This record was recorded during my senior year of high school. It's a little more angry and aggressive than other Gato releases. It's teen angst, but not in your conventional way.

crushed flowers is a 37 part love song i'm working on. at the pace i'm going at, i'll finish it up sometime in 2017... yeah... these first three songs were recorded in my apartment while my roommates were in kansas, or somewhere far far away.

this album makes me nostalgic for being on the brink of summer. for the boldness of claims made to yrself as you try to catch some sleep beneath a purring ceiling fan, claims that have no business making themselves with such arrogant clarity.

A few little songs recording just before I met Chris. These are really noisy guitar-driven songs about how society is a pain for those who wish to live simply and happily, instead of simply live. Highly recommended if you like Eric's Trip and X-Files and stuff like that. Some of these songs may live again in Oscine.

This was our first recording ever in our lives. We were freshman and sophmores in high school... When we started we were a mutt of genres, but about a year after this was released we had a completely new set which sounded nothing like this (see Live On Radio 1 Chicago).

    Patrick. - Vocals/Screaming, Guitar
    Ty - Screaming, Bass
    Evan - Drums, Smiles

I suppose that one could consider this an "EP", but it's really just us playing 5 songs on a Chicago radio show. These are the 5 songs that we played at the end of the band's life, because we changed genres and threw out all of our old songs...now all of our songs are old songs.
