this was a super-limited show-only handmade ep. two originals and two covers (little boxes by malvina reynolds and in the aeroplane over the sea by neutral milk hotel) - each cd was hand drawn and hand colored. this is pretty much the only place to get these tracks now. "robert schneider's abacus" was inspired by a dream i had in which robert (frontman of the apples in stereo) was showing me that he had figured out a way to make music using an abacus. what i didn't know was that the day i wrote/recorded this song was robert's birthday! cosmic harmony. "i thought i saw you in my peripheral vision" was a song of my old bands that was re-worked as seamonster just for kicks. it was written as my idea for a volkswagen commercial song, also just for kicks. "little boxes" was recorded after my roommate and i watched the first two seasons of "weeds" pretty much back to back. each episode of the show starts with an indie band's rendition of malvina reynold's beautiful little song, and it got stuck in my head. the only way to get it out was to record my own take. "in the aeroplane over the sea" is one of my all-time favorite songs. the only reason i recorded my own version was because it was the only way i could think of to celebrate the tenth anniversary of said album. i hope i didn't butcher it too badly.

I must concur with Grace. Your rendition of Aeroplane is beautiful. :)
I love your cover of aeroplane!!!!
You remind me of Jeff Mangum so much, especially in The Ascension of Archibald Balloonhead.
Thank you for your sounds Adrian!
Are you sure you're not Jeff Mangum?
nice!
everything sounds simply splendid. pretty and cute. love love love it.
burn yourself.
This is really good! I especially like the abacus song and aeroplane; it sounds even better than the original (in my humble opinion).
