A primer for the uninitiated.

Struggleburger was an instrumental/experimental/improvisational/grunge duo that existed for 12 months between June 2001 and May 2002. In that time, they released 11 full-albums (including one double LP), a handful of EPs, a b-sides collection, a remix album, and we can't really remember what else. All of it was released via Celestial Bison Records, one of the first netlabels to release all of its music for free as mp3s. Live shows took place at children’s birthday parties, anarchist bookstores, collective coffee houses, and other non-traditional venues, often climaxing with the destruction of a pinata full of crushed Oreos and Cheetos.

"Bestest Hits" is a CLLCT-exclusive collection of their most popular tunes, live and otherwise, with selections from each of their 11 albums. To enjoy these albums in full, visit cllct.com/art/struggleburger.

C'mon man. No "Mr. Popper's Penguins"? That's like Pavement leaving out "Cut Your Hair"!
