What a 'cute' release :) I like Rusty's "Cat Song" and the ADAAOW cover lots but the last song is stellar. I definitely think Steven can make an R&B record soon! Very minimal production for the most part, which is refreshing every once in awhile. Great split, guys.
I too, can't stand seeing people accessorizing animals. 'I can't stand seeing a girl with a dog and a handbag.' HA. Soooooo true.
Yeah! my pop culture references werent really intentional but i like how this whole thing turned out. thanks alex!
Thanks Alex,
with KOCF, I had covered it before, but I still wasn't finished with the song and then that weird rhythm came up and then my voice changed completely for just that song and the cool bass guitar thing came in too. It just had to be redone.
why thank you for thanking me steven, i cant wait to listen to all this guys. in fact im stopping my broken social scene to listen to it.. and i really love broken social scene..
ahha i love the boy meets world reference, clever pop culture references throughout rusty. i think there is a point when a cover is a bit too lo-fi though heh.
steven, love the last song with jon and the ADAAOP cover, and pacing is interesting on KOCF
