really cool album.
Spinning My Wheels makes me so happy. I really dig the album cover too.
you're music's so much fun. i'm super glad you're on cllct, because i'm pretty sure i lost the cd you gave me in phoenix.
hey man, you were in my list of recommended releases...i really enjoy your songs, and currently there's 4 of us drinking pbrs and moving our feet...takes the edge of this uncommon hot day.
Thanks for the details, I think it sounds great (I use Live as well, and it is indeed wonderful).
thanks, I appreciate the kind words :)
as far as recording details, all except Apples were recorded track by track in my bedroom with a AKG perception condenser mic and a firewire solo interface into my macbook pro. I use the program ableton live to record them -- most of the drums were programmed, spray your brain's drums were sampled. mainly cause I do not have any drummer friends, or didn't when I recorded this. i love ableton live, anyone who does music that has some real instruments and some programming/sampling needs to at least try it, it's a beautiful program.
do share details. i enjoy this.
it sounds alot like emperor x which could never be a bad thing.
This is outstanding, such wonderful arrangements.
Thanks for sharing, this is one of my favourite releases I've heard here.
Any recording details that you care to share?
