HANDS
Part Two of the 'Monthly Song Challenge Compilation' in which CLLCT members write and record a song within three weeks for a compilation to be posted at the end of the month. One 'word' is posted in the forums, and then each artist incorporates that word into a new song.
This month, I decided to let fate decide, and so I turned on the TV. Whatever word I heard first would be the 'word' for the next series of song challenges. That word was 'hand.' For October, Tinyfolk will choose the next word and put together the next compilation. Let's keep this project alive and thriving! I like that all the songs sound vastly different from the next
I'm excited for the next theme as well. I like my contribution to this comp, but it doesn't really fit that well. Tinyfolk's song kicks ass though
i LOVE this you guys! i wasnt originally going to make mine accapela but i liked it better without the music. im happy with the release!
I mean weird as in super cool James. Really everyone turned out with stellar material. Each one is so different it's almost jarring but in a cool way.
If you guys still want to submit a track, upload it to the 'collaborate' thread, and I'll add it.
Both of the 'monthly challenge comps' are weird, but there are some real winners here, including your contribution, Steven. I'm not expecting 'song of the year' contenders when someone only has around three weeks to write/record something. I still like the idea of keeping busy :)
