this album makes me nostalgic for being on the brink of summer. for the boldness of claims made to yrself as you try to catch some sleep beneath a purring ceiling fan, claims that have no business making themselves with such arrogant clarity.

this was recorded in a ten day span while my departure to guatemala was delayed because of passport issues. it was recorded at the beginning of the summer when i spent my meager life-savings doing ridiculous but essential things. it isn't very cohesive. there is an awkward song about gentrification and my first ex-girlfriend song.

the cover picture is one i took in a graveyard in xela, guatemala.

this was put out originally by mr. sean bonnette on his def penalty cd-r label in a duplicated run of 100, which i'm pretty sure are all gone now.

i hope you enjoy. write me at bdhorowitz@gmail.com
