Live at Hurley's 9-11-08
2008
Best quality recording of mine (thanks to Ben and his army of mics), and a pretty good set too, if you block out the semi-witty yet rambling and awkward banter between songs. I guess I just hate to hear myself speak recorded. Also one of the last songs stopped in the middle cause I thought it would be disrespectful for 9-11. In retrospect it wouldn't and I really don't buy into that type of hyper-sensitivity. Let it be known I don't make the best spur of the moment decisions.
If you're going to get anything, get this! It's the most representative of what I'm doing now and where I'm at as far as songwriting goes.
You can see a video of one song (Slow Down) here: http://sespotsdam.wordpress.com/media-gallery/ (scroll down a bit) I just found this out.

Very nice set! I woke up singing Going To Lebanon today, that was a nice surprise to hear it here.
