ViewsLonesome Architects recorded their "Monster Ballads EP" over six days in August 2008.
Lacking a drummer, percussion on the EP mostly consists of plastic buckets, pots, pans, tambourine and the occasional shaker, harking back to their previous invented genre of the "kitchen rock" style.
The overall aesthetic of the "Monster Ballads EP" is said to reflect the rushed and sophomoric manner in which it was recorded, as does this description.
*all songs written and recorded by martin and josh.
*cover art: "weirdo beardo" by jordan fu.
