ViewsNew West America is a two disc, twenty song opus detailing a complex dream about a second civil war between east and west. The hollow pine. The wind turbine. Recorded primarily by Matthew Sage (CASTLES) with assistance from Joseph (automobile, swift), this semisomnambulistic wandering through the west is layered with dense washes of guitar drone, pounding drums, chirping electronics and and Sage's voice from behind walls of reverb and fuzz, singing out to the old east.
