Nilsson Zevon

So for the past year, I've been playing this amazing show in DeKalb, IL known as the "Scrambler" which takes place in the Winter and Summer. About a dozen bands are asked to perform as a "band" of their choice, covering 3 selected songs of one of their favorite artists. This past winter, I performed as Warren Zevon, and got oodles of acclaim. This past July, I performed as Harry Nilsson, and got even more praise.

By request, I have uploaded and recorded the covers exactly as I played them live. These are completely organic - one-take, live on-the-spot recordings here in my studio. Everything was recorded and performed with one microphone, a keyboard, and one track. I would offer up the actual recordings that took place at the show, but the audio was poorly recorded & distorted. This is much better-sounding, and it gives you an idea of what I do live with my pre-programmed keyboard. So there are imperfections, as if these were performed live at the "Scrambler." There are no changes in how these were presented on stage.
