One Planned Slip... Live!

While most of the reactions to my 2002 album "Human Slushy" were positive, many of the folks that had been coming to my shows for years were underwhelmed by it. Not because they didn't like the songs... they just weren't expecting it to be a full-on rock album coated in digital production.

In an effort to preserve the nature of those early shows - and keep my fanbase happy - we rush-released this "warts and all" live album in early 2003.

This release was culled from two shows of mine that Chris Zabriskie recorded at a now-defunct venue in Orlando. All of the components of early Marc With a C performances are here: audience participation, artist parodies, arguments with audience members, and covers galore. On this release alone, I do stuff from Steve Poltz, Dan Bern, Michael Jackson, Chris Zabriskie (who guests on his own composition!) and a very special TV theme song.

This shouldn't be looked at as "what to expect at a Marc With a C show". Instead, it's really just a way to see what things used to be like for me. I hardly play any of these songs now, really.
