This is a rough recording of a song I've been working on lately.
I divided it into two tracks for the sake of MB. Enjoy!

Orbit Song:
Burn in me like cinnamon skin.
Charred, but sweet. Barbed with regret
for losing someone that I haven't met.
The dark side of the moon is where
I keep my secrets safe from you.
So hold this note in tune.
We'll orbit one another soon.
Your trajectory may never collide with me punishingly, but I know that you're out there. Out where the sky hangs low from the weight of your glow, but I'll never go out there. Because the hues I've seen were forced at me through a screen that lies and has dyed the color of truth from "what feels right." Sopping with lust: a texture that I've learned not to trust. So I orbit still, but not stagnant. I still look for your light, but won't grab it, because I've met the four letter word for addiction and habit.

Make Song:
You can make yourself a hare and find a fox that will devour you. You can make yourself a book and bend your page to a librarian. You can make yourself a peach to meet a worm that will bore holes in you. But when the morning comes, you're just a shell without a snail. Hail, hail, hail this voice that delivers my mind. It's not god, he left me behind. "What a filthy mess, you say," but there's no one talking in my ears these days.
