'Plates' is the first release from the Boston-based band Turtle Ambulance. After playing together in a 5-piece bluegrass band and spending a broke summer together in a sweaty apartment, Jimmy Hughes and Grayson Murphy decided to start a new band dedicated to turning heat into music, music into jokes, and fun into sweat. Highly influenced by the sounds of soca, hip-hop, and tropicalia, 'Plates' is the result of one year of the duo's band-dom. they're happy for you to have it.
