Somewhere in Between the Great Divide
2008
This album was recorded in a livingroom in Champaign on reel to reel tape with the help of two wonderful girls, Kathleen Heinricher and Arianna Valochi, and copious ammounts of peppermint tea.
I would like to give thanks to Stephen Holliger of Kiki and Peepee for the wonderful drums, Fumi Takezawa and Alexa Musgrove for humming, himming and hawing, my dad for being a gracious host to the whole process and of course Katie and Annie, for unwavering professionalism and cuteness.
And all of you for listening!
Enjoy.
Love,
Morgan O.
P.S. If you want to buy a real copy with better quality and the ability to help me tour Europe this fall send me 6 dollars or 5 euros inside of a cool drawing/letter (mention your favourite colour and your adress). I'll send you back a nice shiny copy and a personalized bookmark!

i really enjoyed little earthquakes, but then i again i love this all this album.
Thanks James! Look forward to finally hearing you play in July!
"I'm Glad This Happened" is one of my favorite songs of the year, Morgan. Seriously.
yes, well I've decided they are both awesome in their own ways. I usually find urbana makes for much more excellent walks though. lots of trees and sky. as far as the four winds, I have never heard of it. where is it that you call home?
can't remember the name. but there is an awesome buffet there called Four Winds that totally rocks too. really good octopus. yeah the whole urbana/ champaign thing weirded me out.
thanks chris! champaign is sort of new territory for me since I've lived in Urbana my whole life (they are connected, but seperate). what sushi place do you speak of?
i've been to champaign and aside from some sweet hot dog stands and an awesome sushi place I must say this album could be one of the best things to happen there. way cooler than jimmy johns. i suppose Hum had some good tunes......
I really dig your tunes.
Little Earthquakes rocks!
