The new James Eric album isn't completed yet, but here are the songs that definitely won't make the cut. Traumnovelle, which will be the last record released under the name James Eric, will come out officially on December 21st. I like a good chunk of these songs especially the ones featuring guest stars but for some reason or another, whether lyrically unsatisfying, or the production just didn't pan out, these are rejects from the August-November sessions. A few of the songs here are just too melancholy for the tone of the final version of Traumnovelle.

If you like these, then get ready for the real deal just in time for the holidays. Originally, it was going to be an all-out digital electronica record, but I couldn't help myself, I love my Fender Cyclone Guitar. So there are some rocking tracks admist the acoustic numbers and more experimental songs. Hopefully you'll get something out of this release, and maybe it'll even pump you up for the new album.

I like a handful of these songs, but most of them don't have an 'optimism' vibe, or I just don't like the production. But I let people with ears decide :) Thanks Steven, you did a great job with it

I really like Hurricane James more and more every time. The production is superb and really dynamic. I like the pitch manipulated "My way" vocal line.
