Walk On By/Singing Over a Sunset Single

First release by the Paper Orchestra in May 2007. An acoustic single/EP recorded over various months in their early conception. Walk On By was the first Stephen Rich song we ever played, and he's followed it up with ever better songs that we now play; Singing Over a Sunset was a largely solo effort by alexp which was played a few times with Felix Ritz as the drummer (Your Yellow Dress plays this now); ditto part 2; Summer Love is a Paper Orchestra standard which is now a very upbeat pop song. This was recorded at our first ever show a the home of David Barclay of The Diskettes; Last is a cover we played a great deal in our early conception. Alex and josh made this recording sometime in the winter with great sucess! Its originally a haunting composition by Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel.
