Wanted (James Eric / Kristen Sylvester Split)
I was so impressed with the existential underpinning and politically-driven leanings of Kristen Sylvester's songwriting that i asked her to contribute to a split that I put together rather quickly to help get her name out there in the DIY scene.
Originally, the demo version of "Something's Not Right Here" was featured on this split, but since it's now officially completed and perfected on the newest James Eric record, I chose to replace it with a love song instead. It's a basic introduction to how most of my songs start out... very minimally, sometimes quirky, and full of goofy romantic idealism. They're not keepers necessarily, but a nice cute folky diversion. Kristen's top three serves as demos until her official new full-length comes out. Expect it to shatter your foundations and stir your soul with a spork. Kristen Sylvester now performs under the moniker, Spirit and Dust. I am still James Eric. I think.

That dude's got serious issues. He loves dolphins and stingrays a bit too much.
Kristen is really really good. That James guy, I don't know about him. But Kristen is great.
