Jewels in the Mouth of the Corpse was a long time in the making, or rather, a long time in the releasing, having been completed at the dog-end of 2007 and then sitting, sadly neglected on disc for several months. But now here it is!

Recorded after one of UCSB's anti-nuclear protests on May 9th, 2007. Instead of feeling excited I just felt depressed and angry and recorded these songs using only my friend Ingrid's electric guitar and my (then new) harmonicas. Listening to these again I really like them, but they can be a bit much. I know some of you will like it.

    Alexandra Tengco did the cover!

Old school collective, ladies and gentlemen! Do any of you old timers remember this lass? Also, if you're wondering about track two, it flew the coop. Bam, smash, gone like creamed corn!

An accompanying EP to 2006's "Birds Were Meant To Fly," composed and performed by Kevin Coons with drums performed by Paul Frankel. Features a single from the album ("Don't Wake Me Up"), two non-album tracks, and an acoustic demo.

A very personal and emotionally intimate EP, with the more ambient sound of earlier Candle recommended for fans of the One AM Radio and Appleseed Cast.
