Netflix has renewed its popular collectibles and memorabilia reality series, “King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch,” for a third season, the company announced Thursday.
The series, which follows high-end auction house Goldin and its founder, Ken Goldin, premiered in 2023. The first two seasons of the series appeared in Netflix’s Top 10 TV list. The show was also nominated for Best Business Show at the Critics Choice Real TV Awards in May.
A release window for the third season wasn’t immediately announced.
“We are thrilled to be back,” Goldin said in a statement. “It is an exciting time in the collectibles industry with new categories emerging, higher stakes and bids, and interest coming from everywhere. We love to share these incredible moments and stories with a wider audience through 'King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch.'”
According to Goldin, the show will be produced in partnership with eBay by Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and Connor Schell’s Full Day Productions.
Acquired by online marketplace eBay in 2024, Goldin has long been one of the collectible industry’s premier high-end auction houses. Traditionally associated with high-end sports memorabilia and trading cards, the company expanded its reach into the pop culture category in June with the acquisition of rare movie props auction house Studio Auctions.
According to Card Ladder, Goldin was a major contributor to the record $305 million in online trading card sales in June. Of that total, Goldin accounted for more than $32 million in sales.
