While fans tune in to watch the 2025 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, they will have a chance to bid in real time for the jerseys on the players’ backs.

Sotheby’s, in the latest installment of its ongoing relationship with the NBA as its official game-worn partner, opened its All-Star Game auction Friday with jerseys from the league’s top stars — before they even enter the locker room.

Within hours of the auction’s opening, bids have come in on all 24 jerseys.

LeBron James, poised to play in his record 21st All-Star Game, has had his jersey reach $7,500, while second-year phenom and first-time All-Star Victor Wembanyama’s jersey is up to $11,000.

The auction house notes in its lot description the jerseys are not yet in its possession, and “Sotheby’s does not know if the jersey was worn in the whole game, half or quarter. By bidding, you accept that the jersey may have been worn for a limited amount of time by the athlete.”

Once the game starts Sunday, bidders will be watching closely for breakout performances, moments and anything else that could boost the desirability of a player’s jersey.
