There has been no shortage of Grays Sports Almanacs from "Back To The Future Part II" that have hit the market, but the one supposedly owned by Michael J. Fox sold over the weekend for $30,625.
The auction house, Studio Auctions, said the almanac has a cartoon version of a Fox inside and a letter of authenticity from Fox's publicist.
The Almanac, which contained the scores through the year 2000, helped Biff Tannen know the scores of games that were going to happen in the future. In the movie, he used it to become a millionaire at the race track and later told his son what would happen in the UCLA-Washington game in the final seconds.
Other "Back To The Future" franchise items sold in the auction, including a pair of sunglasses said to be worn by Fox in the famous explosion scene ($6,250) and a "Goldie Wilson For Mayor" sign from "Back To The Future II."
Glinda's wand from the "Wizard of Oz" ($109,375), Marlon Brando's tux from The Godfather ($106,250) and Chadwick Boseman's "Black Panther" helmet ($90,625) all sold, as did two miniature versions of Tom Cruise's fighter jets used for "Top Gun" ($50,000 and $28,125), and a signed Tom Hanks box of chocolates ($21,250).
