Jesus Christ isn’t the only one making appearances in oddly-shaped snacks.
A Cheeto shaped like Charizard has become the latest rare Pokémon to hit the market, and it already has received bids clearing $2,500, including buyer’s premium, with more than a week remaining at auction.

Collectibles store 1st & Goal Collectibles told cllct it purchased the Cheeto on eBay in 2019 or 2020 for $350. The store was told the seller was on a road trip with an older brother, who pulled the Cheeto out of a bag and traded it for Power Ranger toys.
The store posted on Instagram in 2024, “We’ve had the Cheetozard for about five years now, and we totally forgot we had it until cleaning out the safe! Loads of offers have come in.”
In April 2024, the store posted a photo of the Cheeto, writing it was in search of a grading company that could encapsulate it.
“BGS was a no go.”
A few months later, the company replied in a comment that the Cheetozard would be “going live” on Arena Club, a trading card marketplace and grader, in a “mystery pack.”
Arena Club posted in November 2024 that it had “acquired what we believe to be the rarest Charizard in all of existence.”
Arena Club said it flew down to 1st & Goal Collectibles to acquire the collectible oddity, which had been encased and framed in a mock Pokémon card.
The Cheeto was then inserted into the company’s “Slab Pack,” which collectors could purchase and randomly receive various cards — or, in this case, a Charizard-shaped Cheeto.
While it is unclear who ultimately received the Cheetozard from the randomized pack, it has now surfaced for auction — testing the limits of Pokémon collecting fandom.
Though out of the ordinary, it isn’t unprecedented to see foods shaped like people or characters sell for big money. A Cheeto in the shape of a sea horse sold for $179 on eBay in 2024.
Doritos Australia paid a teenager $14,663 in 2021 for a “unique puffed chip” after eBay delisted her auction for violating its food policy.
Most famously, a Cheeto shaped like the viral gorilla Harambe was bid up to $99,000 on eBay in 2017, though was likely never paid for.
