The shirt Tom Brady wore during his 40-yard dash at the 2000 NFL Scouting Combine — a symbol of how far the 199th overall pick climbed from his draft position to become a seven-time Super Bowl champion — will be offered at auction at Sotheby’s this December.

With a pre-sale estimate of $100,000 to $200,000, the shirt is one of the headliners from the upcoming auction, "The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady.”

Brady infamously ran a 5.28-second time in the 40, the slowest by a quarterback at that combine, and his vertical-jump and broad-jump numbers were both very poor, factoring into Brady's fall to the sixth round of the draft.

“I’ve been so fortunate to have such an amazing journey in my career, and these watches and collectibles really capture those unforgettable moments and all the hard work behind them,” Brady said in a statement.

“I’m excited to give fans and collectors a chance to own and cherish these special pieces from my journey just like I have. I hope they bring as much joy and inspiration to fans as they did for me!”

Also included in the auction will be Brady's wristband from the 28-3 comeback victory in Super Bowl LI against Atlanta (pre-sale estimate: $120,000 to $180,000), his jersey from his final game at the University of Michigan, in which he led the Wolverines to a victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide in a 35-34 overtime victory at the 2000 Orange Bowl (pre-sale estimate: $300,000 to $500,000) and a game-used helmet from the 2021-22 season with the Buccaneers (pre-sale estimate: $100,000 to $150,000).

Pieces from Brady’s extensive watch collection will also be offered, lead by a white gold and diamond-set flying tourbillon Royal Oak worn during the recent Netflix roast (pre-sale estimate: $400,000 to $800,000), a Richard Mile 35-03 “Baby Nadal” (pre-sale estimate: $300,000 to $500,000) and a rose-gold Patek Philippe Nautilus described to be “worn and cherished by Brady since he acquired it in 2017” (pre-sale estimate: $180,000 to $240,000).
