New York - On his first day ever collecting basketball cards, Hornets forward Grant Williams opened a Luka Doncic rookie card worth over $100,000 at Fanatics Fest on Friday.
Williams told cllct he collects Pokémon cards, but admitted basketball cards were never up his alley, and was even wondering what he would have to do to get his money back immediately after purchasing the $10,500 box of cards.
That won't be a problem, since several collectors have already offered him over $100,000, with one even offering $500,000.
