The newest LEGO set from the iconic "Harry Potter" series is scheduled to arrive later this fall with a focus on a fan-favorite family.
The LEGO "Harry Potter" The Burrow: Collectors’ Edition will release next month as a replica of the Weasley family home with 2,405 pieces and a retail price of $259.99.
Among the set’s features are a working fireplace and 10 mini-figures, including Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley, Harry Potter and Errol the Owl.
LEGO Insiders can purchase the set Sept. 1 before complete availability online and in-store on Sept. 4.
In addition to the set, a number of free gifts will be available, while supplies last, from Sept. 1 through Sept. 10 with "Harry Potter" purchases to celebrate Back to Hogwarts Day 2024. The LEGO "Harry Potter" Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network will be available to LEGO Insiders with a minimum $120 "Harry Potter" purchase while the LEGO "Harry Potter" Draco in the Forbidden Forest will be available to all shoppers with a minimum $40 purchase.
The LEGO "Harry Potter" Collectible Weasley Clock will be available for LEGO Insiders when purchasing The Burrow set.
Since its debut in 1997, the "Harry Potter" franchise has produced seven best-selling books and eight movies. The series’ widespread success has also resulted in a spin-off movie trilogy, theme parks and musicals.
The series has also been one of the most popular LEGO collaborations since the first set was released in 2001. According to BrickEconomy, a website that tracks the secondary market for LEGO sets, there have been 163 "Harry Potter" sets — not including The Burrow.
The average annual growth for LEGO "Harry Potter" sets on the secondary market has been 6.5% per year.
