There is perhaps no establishment in sports as deeply rooted in tradition as Augusta National Golf Club.
And that is especially true when it comes time for the Masters.
Whether it’s the pageantry of the Green Jackets or the landscaping of the gorgeous scenery, the old guard is the way at ANGC.
Where this is perhaps most seen among the fans who are lucky enough to have a badge for the week, is in the food.
Whereas hot dogs at major-league parks could run you $12 or beer at NBA arenas might cost $20, you can dine on the best the Masters has to offer for about the price of a Starbucks cup of coffee.
“We believe that one of the reasons the Masters is popular with patrons of the game is because they can obtain good food and drink at reasonable prices,” former ANGC chairman Clifford Roberts wrote in his 1976 book, “The Story of Augusta National Golf Club.”

If you were to buy one of every single item on the menu, it would cost you a total of $77.
For reference, Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals, had the most expensive beer selection in MLB in 2024. The average beer price was $14.99. That is more than both the entire breakfast selection at ANGC combined or the entire snacks section.
Perhaps the two most popular food items, the egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches, haven’t had their prices raised since 2002.
The lone new item this year, the savory tomato pie, clocking in at a meager $3.
Now, the chances of ever tasting any of these firsthand is low. You can’t just buy tickets to the Masters. You have to be selected via a lottery.
But, if you do have the pleasure of doing so, be prepared for the food bargain of a lifetime.
