PSA population data will now be integrated directly into trading card listings on eBay, marking the latest update in the two companies' partnership, which also features direct listing capabilities from PSA’s vault to eBay.

The update, which was implemented Wednesday and should be visible to users in the next 24 hours, will provide buyers the ability to view the rarity of cards based on their certification numbers checked against PSA’s database and refreshed daily.

“The integration of PSA population report data into eBay’s trading card listings marks an exciting milestone for the hobby, empowering collectors at all levels with the data and insights they need to make more informed shopping decisions,” Adam Ireland, VP and GM of eBay global collectibles, said in a statement. “We’re infusing innovation into every step of the trading card collecting journey on eBay, from simplifying selling via image-based listing capabilities, to authentication and streamlined storage, and now, PSA Pop Report data integrated into listings.”

First announced in December, the feature had seen limited roll-out until now.

Since PSA took over eBay’s vaulting service in May 2023, as part of a deal in which Goldin Auctions was acquired by eBay after three years under the Collectors umbrella, the authenticator has continued to integrate its business into the e-commerce giant, selling nearly 320,000 items on the platform as of mid-January.

"Our goal is to simplify the collecting journey by bridging the gap between authentication, education, and seamless purchasing,” PSA president Ryan Hoge in a statement. “With the integration of Population Report data into eBay listings, collectors can trust not only the accuracy of PSA’s grading but also the market insights that fuel their passion for the hobby.”
