The Tom Brady Gold Vinyl 1/1 from Panini’s 2021 Prizm NFL Football NFT release sold Thursday for $35,012, a record for any blockchain-only trading card.
Considered the product hit, the Brady was pulled over two years after the product’s original release and just days after prominent collector “spinotron” placed a bounty on the card.

News of the card being pulled first circulated in the Panini NFT Discord, and a deal to secure the bounty was completed within 31 minutes, according to a post by “spinotron” on X.
According to another post, the card was pulled from a free pack acquired by burning common cards — the process of eliminating an NFT from the blockchain in exchange for new items that can range from new NFT packs, Panini Reward Points and even physical prizes.
First released March 18, 2022, five-card packs from 2021 Prizm NFL Football NFT originally sold for $20 each.
The Brady sale tops the previous blockchain-only record-holder, a Lionel Messi Base Prizms Black 1/1, that sold Dec. 25, 2022 for $35,000.
The sale is also the highest for any Brady card on the Panini Blockchain, with the second-most expensive a Brady Blockchain Triforce NFL Prime Autographs 1/1 that sold for $18,204 in early 2022.
