Topps celebrated its third Hobby Rip Night on Saturday with another lineup of athletes, celebrities and giveaways.

Along with the 100,000 free packs given to attending collectors, this Rip Night was the first to feature international locations, with 10 shops outside the United States hosting official events.

Here’s a look at the highlights from a number of shops across the globe:

Rizo Sports

Los Angeles’ Rizo Sports got visits from Lakers guard Bronny James as well as Philadelphia Phillies legend Jimmy Rollins. James opened packs with kids, while Rollins attempted to pull off some trades of his own.

Bleecker Trading

Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin made one of his Rip Night appearances at Bleecker Trading, alongside Yankees players Anthony Volpe and Nestor Cortez Jr.

Card Express

One of just 10 international card shops participating in Rip Night, Hong Kong’s Card Express got a visit from musician and collector Steve Aoki.

Aoki even signed a redemption for a Victor Wembanyama autograph for one collector. By securing a number of locations in China for Rip Night, Topps continued the its push into the region — China has been arguably the biggest driver of interest during the trading card industry’s boom in popularity.

Manga Story

The first ever Rip Night in France landed at Manga Story in Paris. Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi stopped in as the special guest.

Paradise Cards

UFC president and CEO Dana White and Orlando Magic guard Anthony Black appeared at Las Vegas’ Paradise Cards. White ripped packs with kids and even pulled a Conor McGregor.

Average Joe’s

Anaheim’s Average Joe’s landed appearances from Angels superstar Mike Trout and Bulls All-Star Zach LaVine. Trout has become a super collector in recent years, and often spends time opening packs — hunting for his own rookie cards — with his children.

Santiago Sports

New Jersey’s Santiago Sports had one of the best lineups of athletes and celebrity guests, with rapper Quavo joined by Rutgers basketball stars Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey. Both Harper and Bailey are expected to be lottery picks in next year’s NBA Draft.

The Card Capital

P.J. Tucker is a known sneakerhead, but after visiting Philadelphia’s The Card Capital with Michael Rubin, he might be a card collector now, too.

Cardiacs

Like Santiago Sports, Cardiacs in Raleigh, North Carolina, got a big boost from local college stars — this time with visits from Duke basketball stars Cooper Flagg, Tyrese Proctor, and Isaiah Evans. Flagg is widely expected to be the No. 1 pick in next year’s NBA Draft.

Boomtown Sports Cards

San Antonio’s Boomtown Sports Cards secured a visit from one of the biggest names in collectibles currently — Victor Wembanyama. In addition to sports cards, Wembanyama, a massive "Star Wars" fan, spent time ripping some of the latest "Star Wars" cards.

Collector’s World

It’s not clear if comedian Kevin Hart is a collector himself, but he appeared in 2024 Topps Series 1 Baseball as a surprise Easter Egg. Hart stopped into Collector’s World in Washington to rip packs and trade with kids.

Pianeta Hobby

Rip Night’s first appearance in Italy was a stop in Milan at Pianeta Hobby, with Daniele Adani and Massimo Ambrosini dropping in for pack rips and trades.

Three Kings

Beloved member of Michigan’s “Fab Five” Jalen Rose stopped by metro Detroit’s Three Kings to open packs with kids.

MINT LAB TOKYO

A longtime hub for collectors in Japan, MINT LAB TOKYO got a visit from Japanese star and World Series champion Hideki Okajima. The former Red Sox pitcher spent time ripping packs and trading cards with kids.

Triple Sports Cards

Tom Brady has become arguably the biggest guest for Hobby Rip Night, and this time he stopped by Triple Sports Cards in Dallas. As usual, Brady ripped packs, took photos and traded cards with kids.

Duck’s Dugout

Visits from local athletes don’t get much better than what Duck’s Dugout received Saturday, with Ronald Acuña Jr. and Austin Riley stopping into the Atlanta-area card shop. Acuña Jr. has even said he collects his own items.

B-Brothers

Germany has been a growing hub for trading cards in Europe, and B-Brothers in Langenfeld scored a visit from soccer star Pierre Littbarski, who is best known for winning the World Cup with West Germany in 1990.
