When Fanatics and Topps set out to create the MLB Rookie Debut Patch Autograph, they hoped to build what would be considered the single most important card for every major-leaguer.

Using patches created for and worn only during a player’s debut, the RDPA program has become exactly that for many collectors, and a number of patches to date have eclipsed six figures.

Here are the top 10 known sales for any Rookie Debut Patch Autographs.

1. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Paul Skenes RDPA 1/1 PSA 10/10: $1,110,000

No card has been talked about more over the last year than the Paul Skenes debut patch — the most important rookie card for one of baseball’s most popular young players getting discovered and heading to auction will do that.

Skenes’ RDPA is easily the most expensive card from the program to sell to date, the highest-priced Skenes card of any kind to sell at public auction and also the most expensive modern baseball card to sell since 2022.

2. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Jackson Holliday RDPA 1/1: $198,000

Holliday has yet to deliver on his extremely lofty expectations, but the Orioles infielder has remained one of the most coveted players among collectors over the last two years. In addition to his recreation of the infamous Billy Ripken error card, the chase for Holliday’s RPDA has been something hobbyists have monitored closely.

As expected, Holliday’s RPDA easily became his most expensive card to sell to date, topping the $68,528 paid for his 2024 Topps Chrome Rookie Autographs Superfractor 1/1 PSA 10/10 in September 2024.

3. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Jackson Chourio RDPA 1/1 PSA 9/10: $105,000

Sold privately in December 2024, the Chourio card was at one point the most expensive Rookie Debut Patch to sell.

Considered one of the top prospects in baseball — the Brewers outfielder was ranked No. 2 by MLB Pipeline when he was called up — Chourio debuted in 2024 and finished third in the Rookie of the Year race behind Skenes and Jackson Merrill.

Chourio finished his rookie campaign with 21 homers and 79 RBI, while slashing .275/.327/.466.

4. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Masyn Winn RDPA 1/1 PSA 10/10: $75,000

Winn entered 2024 as a top-20 prospect and the best player in the Cardinals system, according to The Athletic, but delivered mixed results.

After 137 plate appearances in 2023, Winn followed with 587 at-bats in 2024 but slashed just .267/.314/.416 with 15 homers and 57 RBI.

He’s expected to be a strong two-way player for St. Louis, however, and has been coveted among collectors.

Winn’s RDPA sold on the Fanatics Buy Now marketplace in February.

5. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Junior Caminero RDPA 1/1 PSA 9: $66,000

Caminero’s RDPA represented the first major sale for the program and its best rookie class to date. Though Topps launched RDPAs in 2023, the 2024 rookie class was believed to have the star power to push the program to the top of the hobby.

Considered one of the best prospects in baseball, the Rays infielder's RDPA sold for $66,000 at Fanatics Collect in December to become the highest sale for any Caminero card as well as the top sale for any RDPA — it easily topped the $17,080 paid for Kodai Senga’s RDPA SGC 10/10 in March 2024.

6. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Colton Cowser RDPA 1/1 PSA 8/9: $49,410

The Orioles have had an embarrassment of young, top talent, so Cowser has been lost some amid major sales for Holliday, Gunnar Henderson and Adley Rutschman.

Still, Cowser’s RDPA, which was likely impacted by a less-than-desirable PSA 8/9 grade, fetched $49,410 at Goldin earlier this year.

7. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Heston Kjerstad RPDA 1/1: $47,580

Not far behind Cower is teammate Heston Kjerstad, who saw his RDPA fetch $47,580 in the same auction at Goldin in February 2025.

Kjerstad saw just 114 plate appearances for Baltimore in 2024 but is expected to compete for a roster spot and an expanded role in 2025.

8. 2023 Topps Chrome Update Kodai Senga RDPA 1/1 SGC 10/10: $17,080

For a little more than nine months, Senga’s RDPA was the most expensive to sell after fetching $17,080 at Goldin in March 2024.

The Mets pitcher was considered a key chase from the 2023 RPDA class, though that lineup of rookies was simply much less inspiring than the stacked 2024 checklist.

9. 2024 Topps Chrome Update Colt Keith RDPA 1/1 PSA 9: $13,200

Keith sat among Detroit’s top-five prospects, according to MLB Pipeline, in 2023, and made his debut last March — he finished his rookie season in 2024 with 13 homers, 61 RBI and a .260 batting average in 556 plate appearances.

Included in a Fanatics Weekly auction, Keith’s RDPA sold for $13,200 in February.

10. 2023 Topps Chrome Update Bobby Miller RDPA 1/1 PSA 10/10: $11,169

Miller started 22 games for the Dodgers in 2023 and finished with a 3.76 ERA in 124.1 innings pitched, but followed his rookie season with a dreadful 2024 — he started just 13 games last year and finished with a 8.52 ERA and minus-1.9 WAR.

Miller’s RDPA sold just three starts into that season for $11,169 at Goldin in May 2024.

Extra: 2023 Topps Chrome Update Anthony Volpe RDPA 1/1: $150,000

This list is composed of cards that have sold either at public auction or through well-known private sales, but another important transaction was the bounty for Volpe’s RDPA.

Online retailer Dave and Adam’s Card World placed a $150,000 bounty on the card as the RDPA program was launching, and the card was eventually pulled by a hobbyist months after 2023 Topps Chrome Update’s release.

Widely considered the key chase in the product, the Volpe RDPA was exchanged for the bounty in July 2024 and is now owned by DACW.
