this album was written and recorded when i was seventeen and eighteen, during which i experienced some of the most important and good and terrible events of my life to date.
looking back, i think most of the songs were light-hearted in an effort to cheer myself up and get through the rough spots. so, a lot of them are make believe. but the ones that sound like make-believe are real.
there are some friends and family on this cd, and it is all haphazardly recorded when i should have been sleeping on a four track tape player in the garage, which was also my bedroom.
many of the songs are love songs, or have something to do with love. i'm pretty sure i was in love when i wrote them.
please keep in mind- these songs were the first i had ever written, and i had no idea what i was doing. do i now? no, not really.
