Every Thursday, cllct will publish our roundup of auctions that we're keeping an eye on this week.

These amazing pieces are on our radar, and we'll be tracking them right to the final gavel:

Mozart autograph

We can’t remember the last time we’ve seen an autograph from Mozart pop up, so lot No. 1 at Gotta Have Rock and Roll’s current auction, which ends this weekend, definitely has caught our attention.

The composer, who died in 1791 at the age of 35, signed this piece of paper, which PSA/DNA has graded an eight. It already has caught its first bid at $75,000 (including buyer’s premium).

A $1 million Beatles poster?

Sticking with GHR’s auction, this Beatles poster, drawn by Paul McCartney and John Lennon is a show-stopper. It’s already at over $1 million, which blows the current record for a concert poster out of the water (though, the one-of-one nature of this piece and its two artists might disqualify it from the category).

Muhammad Ali's "Thrilla in Manila" trunks

Sotheby’s will continue its Sports Week with Muhammad Ali’s “Thrilla in Manila” trunks Friday. It is yet to meet its reserve price, with five bids bringing it to $3.8 million, without buyer’s premium.

This historic piece is selling for the fifth time. Recovered from a California storage facility in 1988, the trunks were sold for just $650. Then, in 2002, they sold for $58,000 at Sotheby’s. In 2012, at REA, they sold for $118,500. That same year, they were photo-matched and sold at Heritage in August 2012 for $155,350.

Is Top Shot back?

For the first time, NBA Top Shot is auctioning off a one-of-one "moment" of Victor Wembanyama. The auction, which is utilizing a unique, multi-round bidding process, wraps up Monday. The opening bid is $75,000.
