“Please Please Please,” from her 2024 platinum-certified album “Short n’ Sweet,” was one of three singles from the album, along with “Espresso” and “Taste,” to top the charts, eventually becoming her first song to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song was nominated for song of the year at the 67th Grammy Awards and received an MTV Video Music Awards nomination for Song of the Summer.

The music video is currently up for Best Music Video at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Filmed in Staten Island, the music video was meant to be a sequel to the “Espresso” video depicting Carpenter’s romance with a convict, including prison scenes filmed in the Arthur Kill Correctional Facility.

The dress is worn in scenes when Carpenter visits the prison.

Donated by stylist Ronnie Hartleben for Julien’s “G-VE A F-CK” charity auction, proceeds from the sale will go towards Los Angeles fire relief efforts.
