A game-used Patrick Mahomes jersey, gifted to Raiders tight end Foster Moreau, is up for auction with a $300,000 estimate as the three-time Super Bowl-winner attempts to add a fourth title Sunday.
Mahomes wore the jersey in a November 2020 game against the Raiders in Las Vegas, throwing for 348 yards, two touchdowns and an interception en route to a thrilling comeback victory. Mahomes sealed the game with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce with 28 seconds remaining.
The jersey was gifted to Moreau, signed and inscribed by Mahomes, “To 87, Keep being a beast on the field & even better guy off of it! Patrick Mahomes #15."
The jersey features widespread grass staining on the right shoulder and back, which, for game-worn jersey collectors, is a feature — not a bug.
Photo-matched Mahomes game jerseys such as this are few and far between. Only around 10 have sold at public auction in recent years, with the top price paid standing at $268,400 in August 2024 for the jersey worn in his sixth career game.
Considering the timing of the sale, which runs for another 16 days and aligns with the hype of another possible Super Bowl ring — and possibly the first Three-Peat in Super Bowl history — the $300,000 estimate (which would be a Mahomes jersey record) could be within reach.
