It was 45 years ago today when the first male cheerleader in NFL history took the field.

His name? Robin Williams.

Yes. That Robin Williams.

On Nov. 11, 1979, the Denver Broncos were hosting the New England Patriots at Mile High Stadium. When the Pony Express came out onto the field, the comedian, who played Mork on the TV show "Mork & Mindy," danced out in full uniform — a crop top, a skirt, leather gloves and cowboy boots.

Williams, whose character Mork was a clueless alien from another planet experiencing human life in Colorado, was being filmed as part of an episode of the show that would air later that month.

In the show, Williams gathered the cheerleaders together before they went out onto the field and said, "I want you go out there and win one for the zipper," an offshoot of Knute Rockne's "Win One For the Gipper" speech.

After appearing briefly on the field in front of more than 70,000 fans, Mork changed his mind and ran back inside the locker room.

PSA has graded four tickets from this game.

Tonight on eBay Live at 6:30 p.m. ET, cllct is auctioning off the highest-graded ticket to the Williams' stunt. For a chance to win, click the link to remind you to tune in or hit the button when the show goes live.
