Somebody's closer ... to Happy Gilmore's return.
Netflix dropped the first official trailer for "Happy Gilmore 2" on Tuesday, giving a first peek at a sequel to the beloved 1996 Adam Sandler golf classic.
And while the movie certainly looks like it will feature some big names, it would be very difficult to replicate the prop success from the first movie, which has some iconic items and apparel.
Cllct ranked the top five prop items from the original "Happy Gilmore."
1. Hockey-stick putter
The absolute no-doubt top item from the movie is Happy's putter, which has a hockey stick head rather than a putter head.
Once Happy learned how to put, he became the best golfer in the movie, and this putter certainly helped him to do that. Plus, it was a gift from his coach, Chubbs.
The putter, designed by Odyssey Golf, would be the ultimate golf/movie collector's item.
And Odyssey actually released a limited run of 1,000 of the clubs for sale.
A set of three that were autographed by Sandler sold at Heritage Auctions last year for $6,000. A true movie replica signed by Sandler would do 10 times that number.
2. Chubbs' hand
Chubbs Peterson was one of the best golfers in the world ... until his right hand was bitten off by an alligator, forcing him to spend the rest of his life with a fake hand.
Chubbs, who was Happy's coach, eventually died after being spooked from seeing the gator's head and falling out a window.
His hand would live on, though. There's an argument for this to be the top item, but I think the putter is slightly better.

3. Bruins jersey
The key to Happy's success as a golfer came from his ability to drive the ball 400 yards, stemming from his days as a wannabe hockey player.
So, he certainly has a lot of hockey gear. The Bruins jersey he wore in his first tournament, The Waterbury Open, sold in August at Propstore for $40,950, four times its high estimate.
4. Gold jacket
"I believe that's Mr. Gilmore's!"
The ultimate prize that Shooter McGavin had been chasing for so long ... the Gold Jacket. Clearly a play on the Green Jacket of The Masters, the Gold Jacket is given to the winner of the Tour Championship.
And when Happy emerges victorious, Shooter steals it and runs away, while being chased by the entire crowd.
Imagine owning a Green Jacket and a Gold Jacket. Let's just combine Adam Sandler and Jack Nicklaus' collections ... even though apparently all the Green Jackets are supposed to be kept at Augusta.
Did Happy Gilmore get to keep his Gold Jacket? Maybe that will be answered in the sequel.
5. Bob Barker's golf shirt
This is a golf shirt, but it might as well have been a boxing shirt with the way Barker can throw punches.
When Barker and Gilmore play at the Pepsi Pro-Am, and ultimately end up fighting each other, Barker is wearing quite the golf shirt, filled with color and shapes.
Some retailers have even tried replicating it.
But the original, photo-matched, would be a stellar piece. Maybe even one to actually use.
