Fans attending Luka Dončić’s highly anticipated debut for the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night against the Utah Jazz will receive T-shirts featuring Dončić’s No. 77.

The giveaway, highlighting one of the NBA’s biggest stars and the subject of one of the splashiest and most controversial trades in recent memory, comes less than two weeks since new broke Dončić was headed to Los Angeles in a trade for Anthony Davis.

Purple “Nike Statement” editions of the T-shirts are currently available on the Fanatics Lakers online shop for $39.99 and appear to be among the team-shop’s top-selling items.

Dončić, who was drafted in 2018 by the Dallas Mavericks, has been among the most collected NBA players in the world for years, with sales volume for his card index on CardLadder averaging more than $15,000 per day over the past three months and recording four individual sales of $1 million or more, including a $4.6 million sale in March 2021.
