LEGO and Nintendo announced a collaboration Thursday on social media, teasing a release slated for October 2025.
In the post, snippets of video show LEGO pieces in the shape of the Game Boy D-pad and buttons along with Game Boy music, indicating that the two companies will be teaming up to create a LEGO Game Boy console.
This will mark the latest project for the duo, having previously released a LEGO NES in 2020 composed of 2,646 pieces and priced at $229.99, as well as various products relating to Nintendo characters such as Mario.
No further details have been provided regarding the price, however, a 2019 post on LEGO Ideas, the company’s forum for user-generated LEGO set creations, reached 1,000 supporters. The site says ideas must meet 10,000 supporters to trigger “expert review.”
