Isaiah Stewart leads the NBA in two categories this season: Most flagrant foul points accrued and becoming the first player this season to be suspended for his own bobblehead night.
The Detroit Pistons forward is suspended for Friday's contest against the Mavericks, a game that just happens to involve a giveaway of 5,000 Stewart bobbleheads.
The bobbleheads are part two of a two-part set, combining him with fellow Detroit big man Jaren Duran, who make up the "Dawgpound."
The Piston confirmed to TMZ that despite the suspension, the team will still proceed with the promotion.
Stewart was suspended one game for reaching his sixth flagrant foul point of the season, following a flagrant 2 foul against Thomas Bryant of the Indiana Pacers. Stewart was also fined $50,000 for inappropriate gestures made following the ejection.
